It creeps closer and closer to wherever you linger.
Check every corner – watch for the ceiling;
If it picks you, all that’s left is screaming and squealing.
A critter picker favors to catch its victims alive over killing or seriously injuring them. Usually, the gathered "specimen" are brought back to the lair where they are kept in various vessels, such as jars, pots or glass tanks. While most of these huge-grown fey simply enjoy to collect and keep other creatures, especially sinister critter pickers are said to conduct grim experiments with their "objects of study".
