In ancient times, many search engines roamed the lands. Crawling through the remotest corners of the darkest dungeons, these marvels of mechanics and magic were deployed to search for wondrous weapons, mystical trinkets or other items worthy to be salvaged. Nowadays, only a few of these strange constructs exist. While some are still intact, their core algorithm, however, is locked behind complex arrays of buttons, switches and levers. Unfortunately, the integrated security system quickly punishes anyone heedlessly trying to manipulate the controls.
